By using the Store Importer app in your Shopify store, you can migrate from WooCommerce to Shopify with ease.

Store Importer can migrate products, categories, customers and orders.

Products

Products will be migrated with their basic data. If you have descriptions with Wordpress images, you can choose to download these images to Shopify. Wordpress blocks used in descriptions can't be copied at the moment.

Wordpress and WooCommerce use meta data to store information about products. Shopify stores this information in meta fields or meta objects. The WooCommerce meta data can be migrated to Shopify metafields.

To make sure the search engines still find your products, the Store Importer app can automatically create redirects from your permalinks to the new Shopify product URLs.

Categories

There are some differences between WooCommerce and Shopify when it comes to categories. In Shopify categories are called collections. Products can be part of more than one collection and Shopify has a cool feature called 'automated collections'. We use this list your WooCommerce products in the right Shopify collections.

Customers

Store Importer will migrate your WooCommerce customers to Shopify.

Orders

When you migrate from WooCommerce to Shopify, it's nice to have your order history in Shopify as well. Store Importer can migrate WooCommerce orders to Shopify.

Theme

What we can't migrate is your theme. Themes are very complex and there are thousands of variations. Most migrations from WooCommerce use a theme from the Shopify theme store. There are free themes available and they all come with a customizer.
