How to migrate products from WooCommerce to Shopify
This guide shows you how to migrate your WooCommerce products to Shopify.
You can import your products, including images, variants and product data.
Most product migrations are completed automatically.
How product migration works
During migration:
- Products are imported into Shopify
- Titles, descriptions and images are preserved
- Variants (size, color, etc.) are included
- Prices and inventory are transferred
Your products will be available in Shopify after the import.
Import options
You can choose how your products are imported:
- Import products
- Import product metadata as metafields
- Import categories as collections
- Overwrite existing products (optional)
You can adjust these options before starting the migration.
Good to know
Most products are imported without issues.
You can review and adjust your products in Shopify after the migration if needed.
Product variants
Shopify supports product variants such as size and color.
- Each product can have up to 3 options (for example: size, color, material)
- Very large products with many combinations may have limits
Most stores work without any issues. If your products are very complex, feel free to contact us.
SEO and URLs
Your product URLs are preserved during migration.
We automatically create redirects from your old WooCommerce URLs to the new Shopify URLs.
This helps keep your SEO and prevents broken links.
Pricing
Product migration is part of the WooCommerce Importer pricing.
You only pay once based on the number of products.
