How to migrate orders from WooCommerce to Shopify
This guide shows you how to migrate your WooCommerce orders to Shopify.
You can import your order history and customer data so everything is available in Shopify.
This helps you keep your past sales and reporting data.
How order migration works
During migration:
- Orders are imported into Shopify
- Customers are linked to their orders
- Order details (products, prices and dates) are preserved
Your order history will be available in Shopify after the import.
Important to know
Shopify stores orders differently than WooCommerce.
- Imported orders are stored for reference and reporting
- They are not active orders
This means your data is preserved, but orders behave slightly differently in Shopify.
